Jennifer Claus earned her Bachelor’s of Science with a Major in Family Studies from Central Michigan University and her Master’s in Counseling from Spring Arbor University.

Jennifer’s early life immersed her in the study of human nature as a nanny, waitress, ice cream store manager, interest group coordinator, camp counselor, cemetery plot saleswoman, union organizer, library mover, and clown for a day.

She also dedicated four years to volunteering with Hospice of Central Michigan, where she had the honor to share sacred space with the dying.

Jennifer began her exploration of the deeper realms of humanity when she moved to Song of the Morning, a yoga retreat center in northern Michigan. There she learned the practice of meditation, the healing benefits of food, and was introduced to a variety of healing modalities.

Jennifer has since devoted extensive time to studying and earning certification in other forms of healing. She now works full-time in substance abuse therapy, though her specialties also include holistic approaches to women's issues with a special focus on grief/loss, self-esteem issues, and building the relationship with the soul as a functioning companion.

She is a certified yoga teacher and also practices a process called “Journey Work,” which helps to unite mind, body, and spirit and bring awareness to the present moment where healing truly begins.
